Herbarium
In May 2023, we examined the garden's vegetation with the help of botanist Sonja Hassold. We created a list of the most important plant species and identified 68 species, including annuals, biennials, perennials, shrubs and trees. In order to make this information available to our students, we decided to collect and share it in a digital herbarium. The booklet serves as a basis for all kinds of vegetation surveys and plant interventions. Send an e-mail to the chair if you require the complete digital herbarium.
We have created a plant profile for each species using the information information about the conditions under which the plant grows, derived from the website www.infoflora.ch. The plant profile provides information on the plant's habitat, flowering time, ecological values (nutrient-poor or nutrient-rich, dry or moist) and its distribution in Switzerland.
