Drawing a Plant
One of the fieldwork sessions involved drawing a plant to better understand how it grows, focusing on its underground life form. We asked the students to uproot a plant (with the roots, of course), wash off the soil, arrange the plant and draw it. The resisting organ is drawn in black, while the roots are drawn in dark gray and the above-ground part in light gray.
